Tony Orrico is a visual artist, performer, and choreographer.
His Penwald Drawings have been presented and exhibited
internationally, attracting attention from prominent
collectors and institutions.
As a former member of Trisha Brown Dance Company
and Shen Wei Dance Arts, Orrico has graced such stages as
the Sydney Opera House, Teatro La Fenice, New York State
Theater, and Théâtre du Palais-Royal.
He was also one of a select group of artists to re-perform
the work of Marina Abramovic during her retrospective
at MoMA.
Orrico is currently collaborating with choreographer John Jasperse on a design for the premiere of Canyon at Brooklyn Academy of Music and Philadelphia Live Arts Festival.
A solo exhibition of his Penwald Drawings will take place at
Shoshana Wayne Gallery in Santa Monica, May 28 - July 9.
